2 story frame church bldg, covered w/br. veneer (common br. set in common band); rectangular w/small rear addn.; 3 bays wide (prd W-E-prd W), 6 bays deep (W-W-W-W-W-W); central entrance set w/in arched opening w/stained glass transom & recent alum, awning; round stained-glass window above entrance; paired stained-glass windows on both levels of facade. 2 towers on front; front facing gable comp, roof w/louvered attic vent, flanked on either side by square spires w/louvered attic vents; spires have tall pointed pyramidal roofs above rounded hipped lower section; wood weatherboard siding at spires and gable ends have been covered w/alum. siding; windows at sides of towers are single stained-glass; windows at side elevations of sanctuary are 6/6 w/recent alum, sash; 1 ext. br. stove flue; 1974 education bldg to NW corner: Br. set in common band ; 1 by 9 bay, front facing gable comp, roof w/recent alum. windows. Cemetery approx. 20 yards W. of sanctuary; covers approx. 2 acres on wooded hilly lot; poorly maintained; mostly concrete markers; 1914 earliest marker found front of sanctuary. OUTBUILDINGS: None

Historical Information:
Church founded in July 9, 1772 under the administration of Reverends Trap & Brooks (White): 1st colored pastor was Rev. Robert McGee, cornerstone laid Nov. 9, 1919, at the 21st anniversary of the present pastor. In front of sanctuary are buried 5 pastors: Samuel C. Hill, died 28 April 1882, Rev. Austin Hill, died Jun 5,1897, Rev. George Minyard, died 1968; Rev. Robert B. Mabree, died 12 Sept. 1943
