Signficant Architectural Features:
weatherboarded house, one story on the front, two on the rear. Hip and gable roof with plain boxed cornice. Two yellow brick interior chimneys with corbeled caps and a dogtooth course in their stacks; one yellow brick exterior chimney, which has a cap that has been rebuilt with red brick. Front (west elevation): asymmetrical; near the center of the front is the front entrance, a single glass and wood panel door framed by rectangular transom and sidelights (transom & sidelights have lozenge-shaped panes); to the north of the entrance is a tripartite window (picture window with leaded glass transom, on either side of which is a tall rectangular 6-light sash; over the doorway and across the north end of the front is a porch with low-pitched roof, entablature with dentil course, Tuscan columns, and simple balustrade; the southern end of the porch was enclosed after 1923 (see Sanborns) and contains casement windows, which have 4 panes in each sash; the gable end of the northern end of the front has alternate square shingle siding and contains a double-hung window flanked by rectangular louvered vents (the window in the gable end features lozenge-shaped panes in the upper sash and a single-light lower sash). North elevation: in the center of the north side is a polygonal bay; at the west end is a window with lozenge-shaped panes in its upper sash. Rear: additions.
