Signficant Architectural Features:
Two-story frame house. First floor is weatherboarded (painted white); second floor is shake shingles (painted dark brown). Hip roof has entablature with decorated frieze. One central chimney can be seen from Carolina Avenue, windows are double-hung sash. Front (east elevation): symmetrical; projecting center section of the front features on the second floor a triple window (one 12/1 window between two 9/1 windows) and on the first floor a single door entrance with multi-paned door, transom and sidelights; corners of the first floor of the projecting center section of the front are chamfered - each corner contains one 15/1 window on each floor; to the left and right of the projecting center of the facade are: on the first floor one French door with multi-paned transom, on the second floor one 12/1 window. A one-story U-shaped porch with Ionic columns and entablature (which has a decorated frieze) wraps around the projecting center section of the front. South side: both floors are ABA - A's are 12/1 windows, B's are multi-paned, single-sash windows. North side: two 12/1 windows on the first floor, two on the second floor, and one 12/1 window between the first and second floors. OUTBUILDINGS:
