The home has double entry doors with leaded sidelights and transom, two interior chimneys, two shed dormers on the main façade, and gable porch with stuccoed columns and two windows in the gable end. East Main Street Douglas Heights Historic District
This home is attributed in design to Robert Mills and was constructed in 1823 by a Mr. McIlwain a local brick mason. The home has solid brick walls throughout.
