2-story; square; hipped roof; 2-story pedimented portico supported by 4 square posts on square stuccoed pillars & 2 similar pilasters; wide single entrance paneled door w/multipaned sidelights & transom has fluted trim w/corner blocks (bullseye design); second story has balcony supported by curved wooden braces w/decorative railing; single door has sidelights & fluted trim w/plain corner blocks 6/6 light window w/louvered shutters flank central doorway each story; horizontal flush paneling under portico; porch floor has been extended to each side of portico; 2 stuccoed end chimneys each side; 4 windows each story, each side - 6/6 upstairs, 9/9 downstairs; single story hipped roof wing across entire rear of house; to right rear is screened-in porch; small gable ell w/boxed cornice & returns projects from second story center of rear elevation; shutters have been removed from windows on side. ;Outbuildings: student cabin; wooden shed, wooden barn. Student cabin is a rectangular weatherboard building; gable roof has wooden shingles; 1 ext. end chimney (rebuilt); single entrance doorway in facade & right side; 1 window to rear w/shutter; shutter & door are of vertical boards.
