Mr. J. B. Davis bought the property in 1914, but did not live there. Eleanor M. Davis, the executrix for Mr. Davis' estate sold the house in 1935 to Katie C. Solomon. The Solomon's appear to have built the house that now stands at 145 Moultrie St. Mrs. Solomon sold the house to Marshall Charles and Johnnie J. Wineglass. Mr. Wineglass was a teacher at Burke High School and later was the assistant principal and principal at Rivers. The Wineglasses divorced and in 1974, Mr. Wineglass conveyed his interest in the house to Mrs. Wineglass.
