This house is the oldest surviving house on Montagu Street, and today is used for apartments. It is built on a full height basement and is rather simple in outward appearance with a flat roof and wide 2-tiered piazzas. The most impressive features of the interior are the parlor and dining room with fully paneled chimney breasts and recessed paneled wainscoting. The second story drawing room possesses beautifully proportioned bolection work and an unusually fine pediment over-mantel.
