This house is a robust version of the Federal Period. Built by Robert Conner, the house consists of 6 rooms on 3 floors. A handsome entrance onto the piazza off the street contains a striking fanlight and tall Tuscon columns with recessed paneling. The actual entrance door to the house has a distinguished but more modern aspect with fanlight and sidelights of a wider architrave molding. Some of the interior woodwork has an Adam touch with the drawing room a swagged wainscoting and mantel with fluted columns.
