The home has a lateral gable roof clad in wood shakes, clapboard exterior, six-over-six and four-over-four double hung sash windows, one exterior end chimney, hipped roof porch supported with canted wooden posts, entry off of porch leads to second story staircase, and end brackets in the cornice. The home was moved from its original location on College St. in the 1970s and is thought to be the oldest dwelling downtown.
