Signficant Architectural Features:
The home has two over two windows, two interior brick chimneys, projecting gable wing on the left end of the main façade and south façade, decorative cutwork brackets, hip porch on the main and north facades with turned posts, spindlework friezes, decorative cutwork brackets and turned balustrade. There is a one-story gabled ell on the rear and stone retaining wall in the front of the property.
Alterations:
Some windows have been replaced, asbestos shingles have been added to the exterior, and concrete block fill in the foundation.
Historical Information:
The Scotts bought the home from the Adams Family in the 1950s. The Scotts farmed cotton and raised hogs.
