The home has a monumental portico over the main entry supported by two substantial brick columns. Brackets and a Palladian window decorate the gable. There is a circular window on the second story to the left of the entrance on to the porch. The second story cornice is decorated with brackets and dental molding, and the porch cornice is decorated with dental molding. There are projecting gable wings on each side with lunette windows and brackets. There are two interior brick chimneys and several associated outbuildings.
Some windows may be new. The porch is deteriorating and is supported by temporary boards.
