Steeply pitched front-hipped roof with gable dormers centered at facade and rear; rear hipped porch converted for living space. Store with front-hipped roof, weatherboard siding, center entry sheltered by shed overhang on braces.
Facade porch enclosed ca. 1990.
Built by Samuel Holmes, prolific island carpenter-builder for Christopher Holmes family. Store operated ca. 1930 to ca. 1965.
House is very similar to Site #0460494, the Stafford House.
