Signficant Architectural Features:
Single story framed dwelling raised on brick piers. Through hall & parlor plan approached via entrance from south. South facade incorporates two end gables, the first over a 3 bay porch, the second enclosing the bulk of built accommodation.
Building almost derelict before restoration in 1990 when new accommodation to north was designed by Jane Frederick, AIA.
Present plan configuration (aside from minor modifications) shown on Sanborn Insurance Co. map, 1912. Cited on "Vacant & Abandoned Building List" dated July 1989 ("updated by HBF April 12, 1990") in Historic Beaufort Foundation files.
