Rectangular frame 1 railroad freight depot with a lateral gable roof with wide eaves extending over narrow loading platforms that run full-with across the N & S elevs. Board & batten siding. 3 bay N elev. has a pedestrian entrance at its W bay and
moved to present site from 801 Paris Ave.
Reported to have been constructed circa 1875 as the Port Royal freight deport for the Charleston and Western Carolina Railroad, the building is shown on the 1905, 1912, and 1924 Sanborn maps.
