Historical Information:
Appears in Civil War era photographs (HBF Collection) suggesting construction during 1850's. Site is identified as the property of Mrs.Sarah G.Barnwell in 1862. Sarah (1788-1866) was the youngest daughter of Gen. John Barnwell and she never married.
