Historical Information:
William D. Neves, a Greenville architect and engineer for many years, served as the city engineer of Greenville from 1921 to 1924. In 1921, in association with the firm of Martin and Ward (Haskell Martin and Willie Ward), Neves "planned the city's fire station at Pendleton and Markely Streets. The building was constructed at $6,597."
