Commercial. This 2 story commercial/residential building was completely restored in 1964 by the St. Julien Kestlers. Drawing his own plans, Kestler filled in the Anson Street entrance, repainted the exterior, added shutters to the period windows (NINE LIGHT) and filled in the 2 display windows with 35 and 42 light panes of the period scale and matching the upper story windows. A small hood was placed over the door. The four large rooms of the upper story have been stripped leaving framing timbers and brick timbers and plans call for the restoration of these rooms as a single apartment.
