Signficant Architectural Features:
2 1/2 story frame and shingle. ;This is one of the most unusual houses in Charleston, being a mixture of several different styles. This house encompasses a little Eastlake, a hint of Queen Anne manner, a touch of the Shingle style, and a bit of the Chateauesque----and all strung out on a single house plan with a shallow west piazza. A profusion of wooden pin cushions, spindles, tiny Gothic arches, recessed and raised panels, and objects that straddle the fence between either flora or fauna are imposed on a frame that is bristling with gables and even a towerette.
