Signficant Architectural Features:
Antebellum.;Although the early history of this house is not known, physical characteristics of the house suggest that it was built prior to 1839. The structure is a double house with a 2-tiered veranda extending across the front of the house with simple Doric columns and a balustrade. The entrance has a transom and sidelights. The mortar used in the exterior walls are red-pointed, meaning that brick dust was mixed in to give a smoother outer overall appearance. All veranda windows are full length and the molding around the front entrance is of Grecian design.
