Signficant Architectural Features:
Built by Stephen Shrewsbury, this is a most elegant and spacious home and is three stories high with a full-height attic all built over a nine foot basement. The foyer entrance of the house is one of the city's finest, with its leaded fanlight and sidelights. Although the house has been exposed to rough treatment of tenement conditions during the present century, the house has managed to retain much of its elaborate interior embellishment and five rooms are almost perfect tact. The building is now under restoration as a commercial-residential site.
