The house is constructed of a small, rough-cast brick of Philadelphia origin. The interior of the house is quite simple in keeping with the period. The window and door architraves are in pine and the mantels have flanking Tuscon columns. By removing the ceiling in the dining room, a shattered wooden beam was exposed, the target of a Union mortar shell.
