Minimal Traditional. Asymmetrical façade, front-gabled projection, side-gabled wing left side. Recessed entrance, pilasters with decorative hood, segmental arch; single arched entrance door. 8/8, 2 picture windows. Interior brick chimney. Boxed eaves.
Vinyl window replacements. Shed dormer on rear.
Ella W. Hard purchased lot from John Plyler in 1919 (Book 45, pg 320). Residence recorded in 1921 City Directory, Vol. XII, as 203 Sumner Street owned by EW Hard. 1925, EW Hard granted a 5 yr lease to Salvation Army (Book 100, page 460) at 101 Sumner St.
