Signficant Architectural Features:
Storefront cornice is a row of soldiers and brick piers between 3 glass doors and 4-light transoms, 1 window. Adjacent 1-part commercial block structure- same storefront cornice, decorative cornice of four-part corbelled brick with rowlock at base.
Alterations:
Stacked casement windows as ribbon at 2-story (3) with brick sill. I window 1-story, vertical. Wood deck and trellis on top of roof of 1-part commercial block. Mural on elevation facing Pendleton Street.
Historical Information:
The historic used of 586 was a physician's office. The current use of the buildings is a restaurant. The conjoined one-story building was a later infill between 586 and 580/582 Perry. It historically functioned as a taxi/carriage stand.
