Signficant Architectural Features:
One-story commercial building, rectangular in plan, faced with brick laid in stretcher bond. Two common side walls. Flat roof. Front (east elevation): ABA - A's are rectangular plate glass windows with transoms, and B is an entrance with double glazed doors (not original); cornice features a dogtooth course; across front is a metal awning (not original). Interior: no significant interior features; floors have been covered with linoleum tile, and the ceiling has been lowered. OUTBUILDINGS: none

altered - see description; addition to rear was made after 1931.
Historical Information:
In 1913, this building housed a general store. The 1922 and 1931 Sanborn maps of Denmark show that the structure was then being used as a post office.
