Signficant Architectural Features:
One-story commercial building, rectangular in plan, covered with stucco. Flat roof with parapet. Front (east elevation): lower part of the facade contains metal frame, plate glass windows and a door that are not original; the upper part of the facade features a single, long rectangular recessed panel, above which are two rectangular openings containing metal grilles; at the corners of the parapet are chimney-like projections. South elevation: the rear wall is lower than the front, so this wall is stepped back; openings at the east end of this wall have been filled in; near the west corner is a doorway; on this side, a sign is painted on the building -"CARTER-RHOAD FURNITURE CO."
