Signficant Architectural Features:
One-Story weatherboarded house, L-shaped in plan. Truncated hip roof has a plain boxed cornice. Two tall brick interior chimneys on the side slopes of the roof feature corbeled caps; the rear ell has one interior straddle-ridge chimney with corbeled cap and hood. Windows are double-hung sash; most of them are two-over-two. Front (north elevation): (except for the porch) is symmetrical, ABA - A's are double 2/2 windows, B is an entrance with single door framed by a 2-llght transom and 2-pane sidelights; on the front slope of the roof is a large center gable which contains a small 6/6 window, over which a metal awning has been attached; extending across the front and half of the east side is a porch with Tuscan columns -the portion of this porch across the east elevation and at the northeast corner is screened. West elevation: addition with hipped standing seam metal roof across this side contains 2/2 windows, a doorway, and a screened area. East elevation: main section of the house has a door at its north end and a double 2/2 window at its south end. Rear (south elevation): What was once a porch across the rear and east side of the rear ell has been completely enclosed. OUTBUILDINGS: One small frame garage/storage shed.

Historical Information:
The Sanborn maps of Denmark show that in 1922 and 1931 this building was used as a dwelling. The house is in an area not shown on the 1908 and 1913 Sanborns.
