Signficant Architectural Features:
2 story clapboard house with gable roof. Front: asymmetrical, "ABB"; main doorway has rectangular 3-light transom; French doors; front gable with imbricated shingles & diamond-shaped louvered opening. Porch with simple slender monumental square columns (part of porch is in deteriorated condition). Left side facade: 2 2-story projecting bays. Right side: 2-story projecting rectangular bay. OUTBUILDINGS: garage
Alterations:
altered: two-tiered veranda originally on house, changed by Mr. Rentz, a building contractor, who remodeled the house as it now appears.
Historical Information:
Built by C. R. Brabham. The house was later owned by Dr. George F. Hair. In addition to his dentistry practice, Dr. Hair served on the Bamberg Board of Health in 1905 and as mayor of the town 1907-1909.
