Signficant Architectural Features:
2 1/2 story house, square in plan, with hip roof and projecting eaves with exposed rafters. Front: is symmetrical and features a central 1-bay pedimented portico with paired Roman Doric columns over the front door; entrance features rectangular transom and sidelights; first floor mullion windows with central portion 8/1 flanked by narrower 6/1 sections; 2nd floor mullion windows are paired 6/1.
Historical Information:
Built by James Aldrick Wyman after he purchased the lot in 1924, the house was later rented by Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Folk and Mr. and Mrs. Olin West watson, who operated a boarding house for the teachers in the Bamberg schools.
