Signficant Architectural Features:
2 story clapboard house, L-shaped in plan. Gabled root with bracketed box cornice. 2 rear exterior chimneys. Windows are double hung sash, 4/4, with much or the old glass remaining, and have louvered shutters. Front: is symmetrical, AABAA: central doorways with 3-pane rectangular transoms and 2-pane sidelights on 1st and 2nd floors are sheltered by a 2 tier veranda which extends across the front facade; decorative design details of this veranda include its turned posts and gingerbread balustrade. The right side of the west elevation features a 2-bay 1 story porch with decorative details similar to the front veranda. A 1 story wing with enclosed screened porch extends from the left side of the rear of the building.
