Signficant Architectural Features:
2 story brick commercial building, rectangular in plan, with flat roof. 1 common side wall. Front: recessed entrance on left side of ground floor has double doors with beveled glass; to the right of the entrance is a large plate glass window; above the entrance & this window is a wide band of small glass blocks; 3 windows on 2nd story - the middle window is double hung, 2/2, the 2 outer windows have been boarded up; these windows feature flat arches with radiating voussiors, and a continuous sill of contrasting material; cornice with decorative brickwork below the parapet. Side: end wall chimneys, windows with flat arches. Interior: pressed metal ceiling, plaster walls, concrete and tile floors. OUTBUILDINGS:

Historical Information:
Built between 1909 and 1922, this building illustrates many of the construction materials and design features commonly used for commercial buildings during the late 19th and early 20th century. On the 1922 Sanborn map, the building is recorded as a general store, and on the 1931 map, simply as a store.
