Signficant Architectural Features:
Two-story, rectangular plan residential with gabled roof; 3 chimneys-- two exterior and one interior; 4 bay facade ABCD; A is a single, double-hung sash window (1/1 with original shutters); B is a single, paneled door with 3-lite sidelights and 7-light transom; D is a pair of windows similar to A with shutters; D is a modern full-length bay of glass only. Shed roofed, one-story porch rests on 7 chamfered posts; above are 5 1/1 windows smaller than A. Portion of building between the off-centered interior chimney and the right elevation appears to be a later addition (with the porch extended to incorporate it). OUTBUILDINGS: Carriage House, Meat House

additions in 1825, 1835; porch added in 1960 to rear; right portion merged with house and front porch extended to incorporate it; modern glass bay in front.
