Signficant Architectural Features:
1 story, L shaped plan, cross gable roof residential; recessed porch across facade wraps portion of right elevation and supported by large square wooden posts with carved brackets and a plain balustrade and plain wooden slat frieze; there is a projecting gable roof portico offset to right of main roofline which has identical posts and bracket treatment in the frieze, a pent roof and a semi-circular light in the gable end with wooden surrounds and wooden keystone; the front gable end features a pent roof, a paladian window with plain surrounds and keystone, and skeletal stickwork in the gable end featuring a sunburst design; facade has 2 bays:A is a single 1/1 window; B is a single door entrance which is slightly recessed from main portion of facade; the right rear portion of the porch has been enclosed to accomodate a small vestibule ; the projecting L on the right elevation also has a gable end and one interior brick chimney with corbelled cap; there is also an interior brick chimney with corbelled brick cap straddling the roofline; windows are all 1/1 sash and have original setter pins on the door surrounds; there are also 2 small square windows which feature lattice-work muntins; house is sheathed in asbestos siding OUTBUILDINGS: one frame garage shed
