Signficant Architectural Features:
Weatherboard house with gable roof. Oldest portion of the house is 1 1/2 stories and is rectangular in plan with 1 exterior gable end chimney with corbeled cap (it appears that there originally was another exterior chimney at the other gable end). Windows on the 1st floor are 6/9; 2nd floor windows each have a single plain vertical board shutter held in place by 2 handmade wrought iron strap hinges. Front symmetrical; central entrance is flanked on either side by a window; porch, which extends across the front facade features vestiges of sawn ornament in posts and sawn balusters (probably not original). South side: rear shed addition with 1 exterior chimney (not original) and 6/6 window, behind which projects a rectangular addition with metal gable roof and 6/6 windows. North side: a rectangular addition with old 9/9 windows and 1 exterior end chimney (not original) projects out from the northeast corner of the oldest portion of the house. OUTBUILDINGS: barn, large open shed (both not original)
