Signficant Architectural Features:
2 1/2 story clapboard and shingle house with brick ground floor. Gable roof with 2 interior chimneys. Front: symmetrical; veranda with Chippendale railing and Victorian trim extends the length of the main (2nd) floor of the front facade; a pedimented gable projecting from the central bay of the veranda covers a double flight of stairs. Wide central front door is flanked by 12/1 windows. Ground floor windows are 6/6 with louvered shutters; upper floor (over main floor) windows have 2/2 lights. Interior: each floor has 4 rooms and a wide central hall as its basic design. Many 19th century features (hand-hewn pine board walls In main floor hall, etc.) are still intact.
