Signficant Architectural Features:
Two (possibly 2 1/2) story house covered with stucco. Hip roof has cornice with modillions. Four stuccoed chimneys with corbeled caps, windows vary, but most of them are double-hung sash with one-over-one lights. Front (east elevation): symmetrical; First floor ABA - A's are 1/1 windows, B is central front entrance, the design of which resembles a Palladian window (single glazed door, leaded glass fanlight, large leaded glass sidelights— door and sidelights are framed by fluted pilasters); sheltering the front door is a porch with flat roof supported by 4 fluted Ionic columns and two fluted Ionic pilasters; this porch has an entablature with dentil course, and a balustrade with turned balusters; Second floor AABAA - A’s are single 1/1 windows, B is a tripartite window (tall triple-hung window or a door with transom flanked by narrow 1/1 windows); In the center of the front slope of the roof is a large hipped dormer which features an entablature with dentil course and a double window. South side: porch and porte cochere have entablatures with dentil course, fluted Ionic columns; porch has balustrade with turned balusters; porch shelters a triple window (with diamond-paned sashes) and a French door with diamond-paned leafs and a diamond-paned rectangular transom; other windows on this side are 1/1 - their placement and groupings vary. Rear (west elevation): porch with paneled square wooden posts and balustrade with plain balusters across 2/3 of rear; in center of second floor is a recessed porch with posts and balustrade like those below. OUTBUILDINGS: Garage apartment behind house.
