Large. 2 l/2-story brick house (brick is painted). Hip roof features cornice with modillions. House has at least two brick chimneys. windows, for the most part, are double—hung sash. 6/6: manv of them have louvered shutters; window surrounds feature brick jack arches and projecting brick keystones. Front (west elevation): H-shaped core of the house is symmetrical; slightly projecting central pavillion features a pediment containing a semi-elliptical fanlight, 3 second story windows with shutters, main entrance between two windows on the first floor; main entrance consists of a single door framed by Corinthian pilasters and swans neck pediment; Between the central pavillion and the projecting north and south wings on each floor is a single window; the west side of the projecting wings have two windows on each floor; on the front slope of the roof are two hipped dormers, each of which contains one 6/6 window. South side: three hipped dormers, two-story wing on this side has low-pitched roof and has what appears to be a sleeping porch on the second floor & a glassed in porch (which features Doric columns on the first). North side: 3 dormers, 5 second story windows; projecting one-story wing (flat roof with parapet?) in center of first floor. Rear: projecting wings at N & S ends; 4 hipped dormers; windows with shutters on the second floor; one-story porch (appears to be an addition) in the middle of the first floor between the wings. OUTBUILDINGS: l 1/2-storv brick garage apartment immediately north of the house (in an area enclosed by a high brick wall).
