Signficant Architectural Features:
Two-story (or 21/2 story) weatherboarded house. Hip roof has plain boxed cornice. House has one large central brick chimney with corbeled cap; no other chimneys can be seen from S. Boundary, windows are double-hung sash, 6/1, except where otherwise indicated. Front (NE elevation): asymmetrical. lst floor: at E. end of lst floor is the front entrance, a single glazed door framed by rectangular single light sidelights and 3-light rectangular transom. N. end of frame projects slightly, has shed roof; this part has a double window with cornice and, near the W. corner, a small rectangular 6/6 window. 2nd floor - AB: A is a single window, and B is a double window. On front slope of roof is a large gabled dormer with exposed rafters; this dormer contains a triple window (that contains what may be 2-sash casement window that in the arrangements of the panes of glass mimic the design of the 6/1 window of the house. Across the E. end of the front and the SE elevation is a porch with paired taped posts set on brick pedestals. This porch has a paneled ceiling (metal?), and it features a polygonal projection on the NE side marking the location of the main front entrance. Rear: ell attached to W. end of rear. SE elevation: gabled dormer like that of front (the center window in the dormer has been removed to make way for a window air conditioner). 2nd floor - 2 double windows with entablatures. lst floor - windows and doors with wide entablatures. NW elevation: porte cochere with flat roof (metal railing along edge of roof) and brick pillars at.N. end. W. end: porch, which projects somewhat, is enclosed by wooden lattice. Dormer like other sides. Group of 4 windows on 1st floor between porte cochere and porch. 2nd floor - single door and a double window with wide entablature. OUTBUILDINGS: 19' X 20' frame garage with concrete floor behind house
