In the early twentieth century this building served as a free school (unlike Immanuel Presbyterian, charging $.35/month; or Schofield, at $2.00/month). It later became the home of Alva Carroll, a barber; a guest house; and an art gallery. Now it is owned by All Saints Anglican Church (No. 3689).
