Historical Information:
Congregation organized in 1848 and erected their first church building in 1851, which was torn down in 1882. Approximately 225 members oversaw the completion of a new building in 1883. This structure, which still stands, was enlarged in 1911. Another building was added in 1928 and enlarged in 1958. An education wing and gym were built in 1971. To accommodate the growing congregation a 1,400-seat sanctuary was constructed 1986-87.
