Historical Information:
Aiken Prep School, with its college prep environment, was founded in 1916, by Mrs. Thomas Hitchcock. This school will be moving to a new location, but this site is a landmark in Aiken's early history. (Historic Home Tour)_x000D_ _x000D_ Originally known as Anoatok, the George Edmunds house was modified with extensive additions to create the prep school structure, which opened in 1915.
