Historical Information:
Property is surrounded by a high ivy-covered wall. Within the walls, the manicured yard contains a pool and poolside building. Built for Mrs. Julia Breese about 1930-32 for approximately $8,000. She was the sister of congressman Hamilton Fish. House was sold to Thomas Irwin Laughlin of Laughlin Steel interests in 1933. He named it "Point to Point" for a steeplechase race. He was an artist and built the small brick outbuilding as a studio. The studio has been turned into an office and a swimming pool was built on the site of the earlier tennis courts.
