Historical Information:
Built between 1904 and 1909 John Staubes Jr. on land bought by his father in 1873. Willed at his death in 1936 to his late sister's husband H. E. Gyles attorney and two- term mayor of Aiken (died 1966). Purchased and renovated by state Senator and Mrs. G.E. McMillan.
