Historical Information:
Henry Hahn and Henry Shroder came to Aiken from Charleston, and started a business in 1856. The had this store built in 1880, which came under Hahn's sole ownership. His nephew's son, Herman Hahn, eventually owned and operated the business which catered to the winter colony.
