Orig. 2/2 windows; symmetrical front elev; fanlights w/sidelights of front door; vernacular trim work; project front-gabled bay projection; eave returns; 1 central chimney on lateral gable; 2 chimneys w/in surface of rear roof; 1 exterior (rear) flue; the extant rear ell was originally 2 separate 1 story ells (see 1899 Sanborn) which were consolidated by 1904 in a 1 story full-width addition in 1904; likely the current rear portion of the house was finalized by addition of the 2nd floor by 1940. Historical Information:
Built circa 1895, this was the home of the Efron family, who ran a garage behind the house as well as a limousine and taxi service. The house was beautifully restored in 1988. The house and garage are now commercial property.
