Historical Information:
Physician C.C. Johnson moved to Aiken from Columbia in 1904. About 1910 he bought Williams' drugstore on Richland Avenue (1759?). After his death in 1928, his sons (two pharmacists, one doctor) moved the business to this site. About 1940 they relocated to Site No. 1480 on Park Avenue.
