Historical Information:
Church was chartered by nine members in 1909 and purchased a lot on N. Main St. in 1911. Excavation of the lot and construction of the building began in 1913 and was completed several years later due to a lack of funds. Interior was redecorated by a New York artist in 1948. Pence Memorial Chapel was completed in 1953. Today the congregation near 1,300 members.
