Signficant Architectural Features:
Decorative diagonal shingles in roof gables, decorative porch supports. Queen Anne style decoration. Some chimney top decoration, and decorative porch brackets. Original porch roof is wood shingle. Front door had decorative wood carving and possibly some stained glass panes. Faux finish on inside doors. Three associated outbuildings.
Alterations:
Serious deterioration. All windows missing.
Historical Information:
Family began farming here in the nineteenth century and lived in a log house that has now been moved off the property. A saw mill and gin were also formerly on the property; the gin was moved to Owings. The main house had decorative stained glass windows. A road ran along the west side of the house directly across from Site 0432, with which was also originally part of this property.
