Arches over doors and windows. The building has similar architectural features to the Ware Shoals Hydroelectric project.
Historical Information:
Located on Boyd's Mill Pond, the site of a former grist, flour and saw mill. The Reedy River Power Company was organized in 1907, and constructed the dam and power house the following year. The plant was soon purchased by Duke Power, and generated electricity for the town of Laurens.
