2-story brick building (stretcher bond); L shaped plan w/ hip roof; gable roof 2-story bay on rear; carved exposed rafters; 1 story steep shed roof porch across facade w/ large round arches at either end w/ rowlock arched surrounds; 1st story facade - 10 bays - ABAAAACDDD: A - pair of 6/1 windows w/ arched surrounds; B - single 6/1 window w/ arched surround; C - main entrance set at angle at intersection of L; originally a double door entrance w/ arched transom and surround now has projecting small rectangular wooden room w/ flat roof and double door entrance; D - pair of 6/1 windows w/ arched 6 pane transom; (these last 3 windows are on the bay of the L;) porch has marble floor, some have fallen in; porch supported by large brick pillars, w/ corbeled capitals; 2nd story facade: ABAAAABAAABA - A - pair of 6/1 windows; B - single 6/1 window; 2nd story porch w/ wooden pillar supports and balustrade on portion of bay; balcony w/ brackets at front end of 2nd story porch; closed up basement windows on bay of L w/ rowback arches; barrel roofed entrance down to basement on facade; remnants of balconies on left elevation; left elevation 3 bays AAB - A - large arched openings for doors and windows; B - single entrance w/ 1 sidelight and 1 window; large archway in rear for carriages and stables; numerous chimneys and flues.
Alterations:
Vestibule built outside of main entrance; balustrade replaced by metal pipes.
