Historical Information:
Although built along a water source, Huguenot Mill was built in 1882 as a coal-fueled steam-power mill, one of the first in the region. Charles Lanneau organized the company, which produced plaid materials. The mill expanded in 1913 and was renamed Nuckasee Mill. The operation utilized cloth manufactured and bleached at other sites in the city.
